Functional Area Coordinator
The functional area coordinator acts as a subject matter expert in their functional area. They build and maintain relationships to educate clients on the value of data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. The FAC is the liaison between the team and the client.
Once the business need has been determined, the FAC identifies stakeholders with whom the project team collaborates. The FAC provides data and business process education to the team. The FAC participates in requirements gathering and is responsible for follow-up communications. They ensure client needs are met during the data design and business intelligence solution development phases. FACs perform functional testing to ensure that solutions address the business needs. They coordinate the user acceptance testing with the goal of client approval on the solutions.
